Dimensions.

Mathematical Dimensions, not philosophical... Ish. I'm more ranting in this one.

Right, let me start. 1D is a line. Not just a line, a line with zero thickness. This is used as a number line or angles (Ish) and is weird but easy to explain: If the is something in front of you, you see black. Just black. If not, you see white. You can turn around but only 180* at a time. By 2D view.

2D... Anime, Drawings and Vision. I'll come on to the latter and later. This is 2D. You have two axis (X and Y as opposed to just X) and so can branch out beyond. Anime is a good example of this, in fact, watch more of it you limey fruitcakes! (If not possible, you get one Manga Cookie Token, to be traded in for a Manga Cookie when you're next in Japan.)
Well, it has angles but no Z axis. To sum it up: If it can be put onto paper, it's 2D. Ish.

In this, the Dot represents a person in 1D. The Black people can see each but not the Purple guy for he is behind a wall. Because we are 3D, we are not subject from this limitation.

3D. A Z axis that allows you to go beyon... You should have some clue. You are 3D.

4D... I cannot explain it. You cannot explain it. Physicists cannot explain it. As we are 3D, we cannot comprehend 4D.

Now for the rant.

First, it is rare to find a 1D image. A quick Google search had no such images. (All Hail Google, who own Blogger and are taking over the world. [Seriously. They are and freely admit it.])

2D images are very hard to find. Due to our eyesight, we can see through the third dimension but everything we see can be shown visually as a 2D image (Videos and Photohraphs) and so we actually do not see in 3D, it is perception that makes us think we do.

3D images are just altered versions of the 2D imagery that messes around with perception. See Avatar. Well, don't. It was overhyped and not as good in Graphics as some of the stuff I've seen.

4D doesn't exist. Spy Kids 4D is probably an illegal title due to the truth in advertising law. Moving the seat, spraying people and messing about with the other senses does not change the visual side of things.

Well, that's it.

In conclusion, were it not for perception, nothing would be 3D. In fact, I could argue that we cannot see 3D. Not at all. Messing about with other senses changes nothing with the visual side of things. Perception is a sense in itself and thus all sight could be argued as 2D.

I just confused myself.
