Lavender Town

Lavender Town may kill you. It's not helping that I am writing in red on black.

Note, I will tell you now about my two favourite RPG Game series. The first is Pokémon.

First part: Play Pokémon again. It is worth it.

Now for the story. I read the full original story at 4am.

Lavender Town had music and scenes composed by certain people. Due to a last second change, one of these scenes was changed. In the scene, the game would be rendered useless and the player character dies if they lose a Pokémon Battle. It was cut.

Forgetting that, the Japanese Original Release of the game had a different theme in Lavender Town than anywhere else. It had an undertone that could drive people insane. It caused headaches and pain. It was because of the frequency that was could only be heard by underdeveloped ears. Listen to the original theme and you will have a headache.

Even worse, the mere pain in the undertone caused death and suicide. Yeah. Listen to it through headphones. Prove it wrong. I dare you.

Seriously, listen to it. There is a slight difference. When you are scared, please, do not blame me.

In fact, I will cure you.

Pokémon? Lavender Theme may cause death due to the eerie music. But ignore that for a few minutes.

THE CURE TO LAVENDER TOWN SYNDROME (Google it) IS SIMPLE!

Music makes you depressed? Music shall cure you. I was scared (Remember, this was at 4am) and so decide to put down my laptop and grab my guitar. I played a riff (Well, two. To practice, I played Tubular Bells) and then after that, I played the song I had been trying to master. It saved me.

The song? Chocobo Theme. From Final Fantasy. It began to warm me. I then put down the guitar and listened to the whole soundtrack from FFXIII. Seriously.

The following songs will lift your mood in any situation:
The Promise,
Archylte Steppe.
Blinded by Light.
Everything else from the game.

I am honest. I was too afraid to leave the well lit room and venture into the darkness, I listened to these songs and it saved me. I felt happier and journeyed into the kitchen and made myself a nice cup of tea. Because of that, my mind has been saved. I feel okay.

Seriously, listen to the song a few times and then listen to music from FFXIII. It is a wierd experience.

Ohh, and I spell wierd like that because: "I before E except after C and before a silent G." and also because it is wierder to look at. Appropriate.
